| Submitted | The form and uploads have been accepted. No officer has opened it yet. |
| Under verification | With the Lekhpal for a field report. This is the longest stage and the one where a wrong address stalls a file. |
| Report submitted | The field report is in and the file is queued for approval. |
| Approved / signed | The Tehsildar has digitally signed it. The certificate is downloadable. |
| Rejected | Closed with a stated reason. Read the reason before you refile. |
Compare the elapsed time against the stated processing time for that service, and count working days only. A domicile application sitting at “under verification” past its window usually means the field visit has not happened. The Tehsil office can tell you which Lekhpal holds it if you quote the application number.
