No. CertiSetu is an independent private platform, not affiliated with the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Your certificate is issued by the Tehsil through the official e-District system — we check your documents, file the application, follow it up and deliver the result.

Domicile, Income, Caste and EWS certificates for Uttar Pradesh. Character and Birth certificates are under review — see the roadmap.

In almost every case, no. Our field agent gets the councillor or Pradhan attestation and files with the Tehsil. If your particular Tehsil insists the applicant appear once — it happens for some Caste and EWS cases — we tell you before you pay, and our agent meets you there.

Domicile, Income and Caste are ₹699 each; EWS is ₹1,999. GST is shown before you pay and nothing is added later — the government's e-District charge is included. You pay before we file; there is nothing to pay at the Tehsil or on delivery. Guidance on which certificate you need is free.

Typically 7 to 10 working days for Domicile, Income and Caste, and 15 to 20 for EWS, counted from a complete filing. The department sets the pace, not us; you see every stage on your order page and get a WhatsApp message when it changes.

If we couldn't file for a reason on our side, or you cancel before we file, the fee comes back in full. If the department rejects it on eligibility, or because a declared detail turned out to be wrong, the fee isn't refundable — but we tell you exactly why and what you'd need to apply again.

Yes. With your OTP consent we fetch Aadhaar and other government-issued documents directly from DigiLocker, which the Tehsil accepts without question. If the OTP doesn't reach you, phone photos of your documents work just as well.
